ok, its been less than 3 months since my last post....quite an improvement.

As soon as the 15" of snow we got before christmas finally melted, mother nature decides to take another wintry crap on on us and is currently depositing another 4"-6". We've gotten more snow in the last 3 weeks than we have in the last 3 years. I moved to Washington to get away from the snow!

Christmas was good. Got and gave lots of good stuff. 2009 will be interesting.....

well, I've been 30 for a couple of weeks now, and I really don't see what the big deal is. I don't feel any different. Am I supposed to?

I stumbled across an article in the Purdue Exponent about the sledding that takes place on Slayter Hill every winter. I miss the days of getting liquored up and propelling myself down a hill on a trashbag or piece of cardboard. I was witness to many a hilarious event during those times.

My favorite quote from the article is this:

"Five years ago, the University used signs at the bottom of the hill to warn sledders about the danger; however, administrative officials found that sledders were colliding into the signs."

0.9 final is out!: Finally.....0.9 is out after many, many delays. All the issues and bugs that folks submitted in the past couple weeks have been resolved. Thanks to everyone who found bugs and reported them.

it only took one year to get this release out, but better late than never. looks like i need to upgrade this site to use it

just letting eveyone know i'm still alive. rach and i are buying a house and i've been preoccupied with getting things squared away for that. You can see the house here.

hopefully we'll get moved in at the end of feb or the beginning of march.

i really need to fire up the XML news reader and get back into the blogosphere.....

like updating my blog. lots of things happening in the past month. rach and i found out that we brought back an extra souvenir from our honeymoon that should arrive at the end of July (we're having a baby for the thinking impared).

We've actually been home since last Sunday, but I just haven't gotten around to posting since then. Ah, the life of the married man.....

Got the first round of wedding/honeymoon photos up over on the wedding site. I'll be posting daily updates about the honeymoon sometime soon over on the wedding blog. i'll let you know once i start with that.

Two important events occur today.

1) Rach and I began dating 3 years ago on this day. I couldn't have possibly imagined back then that in less than 3 months, she'll be my wife. Happy Anniversary babe!

2) Its my sister Kara's 19th birthday. It seems like only yesterday she was hitting me with barbie dolls and throwing fits. Happy Brithday sis!
